I have been a loyal fan since the beginning and Sully your music has helped me through so many rough times and still does. You talked about vibrations at the show and what an amazing perspective of looking at music and life. Keep on rockin brother!!! Godsmack is the best always!!!!🤘🤘🤘

Not gonna lie man, I stopped listening to your music years ago because of a personal experience I had with you. I'm willing to let things go because at the end of the day, everyone has bad days, everyone goes through shit, deals with shit, etc. Long story short, I was playing a poker tournament up in Manchester NH back in like, 2005ish or so. I was there with 3 buddies. We all got busted out except one of us. As we stood there watching and routing for our friend at the last two tables, one of my friends turned and says "Bro, did you know Sully from Godsmack is here?" I was like, "No, where?!" He goes, "You're standing right next to him." I turned and saw you, we both talked to you for a good minute or so, found out you had a guitarist at one of the last two tables too that you were routing for. You gave us each an autograph, seemed like a hell of a cool ass dude. Then some other guy comes up and simply says "Sully, dude I can't believe I'm seeing you here! I'm a huge fan. Saw you a dozen times live, just curious when you're possibly gonna play a show in Manchester again." You turned to him and go, "I didn't fuckin come here to fuckin talk about music." Then walked away. You put a sour taste in my mind with you an how you treat fans after that moment. I don't even know what happened to the autograph, but after that I didn't care. I stopped buying your music, I started downloading it bootleg if I wanted to listen to it, and I've never stopped sharing this story with people, to this day obviously. I understand personal space. But when it comes down to it, the only reason you are where you are today, is yeah your talent, but because of your fans. Without your fans, you'd be singing to yourself in a brokedown trailer somewhere. I could understand if someone came up to you in a bathroom, while you're on a private family vacation somewhere, or out to eat, etc. Personal stuff. But when you're out in PUBLIC, at a PUBLIC event, you should expect fans to come up to you, and treat them all with the same level of respect they give you. Sorry, rant done. I just hope you're not that same person I saw that night.
